The Look See Connect Mobile App
The Look See Connect™ mobile app lets you record personal reflections, journal entries, moods, symbols, and observations, and optionally attach photos. This section describes how that data is handled.
What we collect through the app
Account information (name, email address, or your Apple ID if you sign in with Apple)
Journal entries, reflections, and any photos you choose to attach
Moods, themes, and personal significance ratings you assign to entries
Profile preferences you provide (such as what season of life you're in, or what you're seeking)
Basic subscription/usage information (your plan tier and how many AI reflections you've used)
How your reflections are processed
When you request an AI-generated reflection or interpretation, the text and any photos in that entry are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude AI) to generate a response. This happens through our own secure server — Anthropic does not have direct access to your account or your other data, and receives only the specific entry content needed to generate that one reflection.
Where your data is stored
Your account data, journal entries, and photos are stored using Firebase (a Google Cloud service), in Google's U.S. data centers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (journal entries, photos, and profile information) at any time from within the app, under Settings. When you do, your data is removed from our live systems immediately. For disaster-recovery purposes, we also maintain routine backups of our database, which are retained for up to 30 days — meaning a deleted account's data may persist in a backup for up to 30 days after deletion before being fully purged.
A note on sensitive content
Reflective journaling often touches on emotionally significant experiences, and that's the intended use of this app. However, the app is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or mental health care, and is not designed for crisis support. If you're in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
Children’s Privacy
This website and future offerings are intended for individuals 18 years or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. However, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
App data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to your account data is restricted to your own authenticated account.
